Not always tight
These stoppers are very difficult to use when you need a tight seal. Do not push the stopper to the bottom of the bottle neck. If you do this, the bottom of the cork will not touch the sides of the bottle and the cork will leak very slowly when the bottle is on its side. If you press the cork until you feel the cork touch the sides of the bottle, there usually isn't a leak. I regret buying these corks. If you are looking for ease of use and tightness, look elsewhere.
