There are only 2 plugs to charge, but 3 pieces are charged (1 remote control, 2 collars); The charging times are short / USB connection is sufficient, so also perfect for on the go. Collars are good for a few days. Remote control is good for longer. I didn't check the maximum range, but I'm glad to get to the neighboring house. The sound signal is quite loud, vibration and impact are adjustable. Vibration at 35 and shock at 5-7 for our 2 labs. The remote buttons are small and mistakes happen, so take the time to learn the remote. Overall it did what we needed to keep the dogs from going too far and adjust the behaviors we wanted to discourage. I tried the shock on myself from a longer distance and oops! Don't think dogs ever have to climb that high. I haven't tested water repellency either.
