Review on 🛁 Delta U1075-PB-PK Diverter Tub Spout in Polished Brass, 0.5 Inch by Richard Simmons

This product works as expected but is more difficult to install as it is universal. On the Delta Sliding Diverter, I swapped out the o-rings a few inches from the wall, and the screw that holds the diverter to the tube is near the wall. The builder tightened the clamp screw, a dent in the copper pipe. With this universal switch, a small brass fitting contains an O-ring and clamps for a copper tube that is pressed against the wall. Unfortunately, the O-ring sits in the exact same place as the previous deflector's set screw. This resulted in a leak when the shower was first turned on. I ended up using an RTV with a brass fitting to form a spacer to hold the dented copper tubing in place. Since both were designed by Delta, one would think they would have considered that fitting a different type of switch would affect universal interchangeability.
