Easy Garage Door Repair by Wayne Dalton, age 19

One day I noticed that one of our garage doors was no longer securely attached to the concrete floor and upon inspection I found that one of the two cables was a little worn . where it is attached to the winding drum. I bought these cables and carefully marked a spot on both that would allow a little more wrapping around the drums with the door closed and after about an hour or so I replaced both cables and the door was working like new again. These cables are, as you'd expect, heavy gauge steel (difficult to cut without the proper tools), inexpensive, and I would use them again if any of our other doors had an issue.
