Two Bad Subwoofers - Subwoofer

I don't know if Skar has a bad batch but I ordered one and it blew out. The cone is hard as a board. I connected about 250 watts to the amp and "Smell" started. I sent the sub back and was sent a replacement. The second subwoofer was exactly the same. Do not get me wrong. I love scars subs. I have two VXF 12s on a JL HD1200.1 and they are killing it! But not these 8s. So yeah, both are back now. I would like to keep them.
