When my electric stove broke I wanted to buy a new one but it was only due to arrive in a month. I've seen this and other similar products and thought this one looked better than others. I finally decided to buy it not realizing it was induction based but luckily some of my pans were compatible if you are unsure about getting a magnet from your fridge or another magnet and see if it sticks to it sticks to the bottom of the bowl. Your pan, if not, it will not work with it. I've tried with incompatible cookware and it just beeps and won't start, so there's no getting around it. The presets are very varied and it heats up very quickly, I think it's faster than my old electric stove, probably because there's no energy loss in heating the coil and then the pan and transferring that energy straight to the pan, so the that has the meaning. It's very easy to clean as it's a flat piece of glass, which is important as it gets a little dirty. One thing I don't like is that it has a very loud fan that keeps it cool, you can't adjust it and it's a bit annoying. Overall I'm happy with it, it worked for me and I haven't had any major issues, I've been using it at least twice a day for a few weeks now and would recommend it if that's what you need.
