My dad has shoulder and arm problems as most of the blankets we have found keep him warm but are too heavy to carry himself could pick up if he turned over in his sleep, causing him to wake up struggling to arrange the blankets. This blanket was very warm, beautiful and most importantly light. My dad is very happy with this blanket and can roll over without struggling with the blanket so he sleeps more because he doesn't have to wake up as often. Kathy G
