I bought it mainly for a member of my family whose kitchen is mint green. Difficult to find matching kitchen items in the color so I jumped at the opportunity to get this for review. I love that it comes with a filter and some don't, and for me that's a very important feature. This means I don't have as many particles from previous cooking if I want to use this lube. The handles are rubber or silicone, which feels comfortable, although I'm not lying, I wanted wood. The plate underneath looks pretty and is a great decoration. In addition, it is a perfectly acceptable container for fat. Can I recommend it? Yes, depending on how often you reuse the lube and whether you like the color of the lube. I think it's a bit pricey but I've never seen a mint green fat container like this and it's a good size too. They are also not the type of items that you replace frequently. If this suits your kitchen then I definitely say go for it! If not, this one is a bit pricey but well made.
