The crankshaft position sensor was inexpensive and fairly easy to install once you know the location. However, the one I received didn't work. The installation has triggered my check engine light, we reinstalled the old one that has been in the car since I bought it (1998) and it works perfectly. I should have read all the reviews before purchasing. However, I now know that if something isn't broken, don't try to fix it. PLEASE THINK BEFORE YOU BUY THIS SENSOR.
