This is literally a SPOON stand. It is designed for common cutlery (forks, spoons, butter knives) and is not suitable for large kitchen utensils (such as spatulas, ladles, tongs, etc.). This isn't usually the size you find in stores; it is smaller and shorter. If that's what you're looking for; this is a wonderful product. Easy to clean (I can quickly wipe the glazed surface with a damp paper towel), durable (has a solid weight to hold it in place) and very heat resistant (perfect for placing on a gas stove; even with all 4 burners plus the oven). ). I'm happy with the quality of the product but was very disappointed when I realized it was small. I think you get what you pay for. Save a few bucks by getting a few inches off the item.
