Completely inaccurate description O-rings are of normal quality but are exactly the same as what you can buy at Lowes and Home Depot, they are all smaller, they are about . 725" OD, which usually causes the o-ring to disappear into the shower spout if you overtighten anywhere. The inside diameter is also smaller, actual size is 7/16". My showerhead (like most showerheads) requires an o-ring with an outside diameter of at least .750" so it can be tightened enough to seal. The larger Problem is, no one seems to sell shower heads in the right size, so the average consumer can have it all without having to turn to specialized o-ring companies 1. The inner diameter of the middle shower holder is about 0.690" All three o-rings are 0.725"3 in diameter. The inner diameter of the middle nut of the showerhead is about 0.750". The difference between the outer diameter of the SH nut and the o-ring is 0.025"4. When the o-ring smack in the middle of the nut, the .0175" diameter material overlaps the thread walls of the shower arm5. If the o-ring is not properly positioned, there is a chance of an overlap of as little as .0175". 005" Through the Tightening the showerhead on the showerhead with this slight overlap will ensure the o-ring is pushed into the showerhead resulting in an instant leak In short the Danco Universal Showerhead Rubber Washers are the wrong size and I recommend them not . to anyone
