There's nothing to be said for something as simple as a washing machine, but this product is just the right size to replace the one in the hand held shower hose. I lost a couple of these down the drain when changing my shower wands. I don't know why they are so hard to replace. My local hardware store says they come with showerheads and hoses but are not sold separately. I've tried restricting garden hose washers in the past with limited success. This product fits perfectly!

Small pack contains 3 washers. They appear to be of good quality and just the right size to replace a shower head or worn out washing machine. (If it's dripping at the joint, it's most likely due to a worn washer). It's good to have some in reserve - and they don't cost much. Note: When installing a new showerhead (or hose fitting), it's best to just hand tighten rather than using pliers or a wrench. Overtightening can damage the washer and cause leakage.

Completely inaccurate description O-rings are of normal quality but are exactly the same as what you can buy at Lowes and Home Depot, they are all smaller, they are about . 725" OD, which usually causes the o-ring to disappear into the shower spout if you overtighten anywhere. The inside diameter is also smaller, actual size is 7/16". My showerhead (like most showerheads) requires an o-ring with an outside diameter of at least .750" so it can be tightened enough to seal.
