God I'm so glad I have these for my cook. I have never heard a child say the corn is too hot. They all liked to use holders that looked like tiny corn cobs. No one had dirty greasy hands from butter and everyone enjoyed their meal. After that, I just pulled the holders out of the corn on the cob, dipped them in hot soapy water and swirled them with a spoon so as not to burn my hands in the hot water, let them sit for a few minutes until the water cooled, and rinsed. I could wash them in the dishwasher but I prefer not to accidentally melt them.
