This unit replaced an almost identical unit that failed after two years. Once installed, the device would initially not turn on at all until I played with the detachable bezel and brought it to life. It then failed completely after a month in the boat (unused). He was completely dead and unresponsive. When I tried to return it, Revane said the return period had expired. Delivered June 1st, installed June 5th, died July 4th. I'm tech savvy enough to make sure the wiring harness gets 12V, but that's DOA. I registered it with Boss so I guess I'll have to ask the manufacturer for help, but I'm very disappointed that Revain turned their back on me.
