I bought these to do parties and are a lot of fun to use. There is definitely a learning curve to using them. They are essentially brush-tipped markers, not hard-tipped ones. I've had a bit of practice with them and I'm having trouble "drawing" large sections without feeling like I'm drawing with a dry marker. I'm a little artistic and couldn't make my drawings look like real watercolors or anything close to the sample images. This is entertainment for kids or people not trying to make serious art. It's a cool concept and I really enjoyed using it. However, when you're making a masterpiece, you definitely want real colors, not those marker brushes.
