Review on Wi-Fi Powerline router TP-LINK TL-WPA4220, white by Janis Janis ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The item is average, not sure if it's worth the money.

In a sense of universal order. The iron item is attractive and comes in a secure box. There is no reference to low-cost Chinese laborers. A third WPA4010 device was purchased to complement the existing pair. Have a good night's sleep with them. In theory, the benefits are crystal clear: it's functional, it has two ezernet ports, and it has a built-in Wi-Fi access station that supports the Type N standard. I'll spend a little more time discussing the drawbacks: Regarding the speed over the electrical grid, it is not this one piece of iron that is a drawback, but rather the entire system. Instead of the advertised 500 Mbps, you can expect closer to 40 Mbps. I experimented with speeds both close to and far from my flat, but found that they were essentially identical. about 40 MB on the average. Since they guaranteed 500, this works against them. (even if 500 are half-duplex, or 250 entire, let's assume less-than-ideal conditions. We'll be keeping 125 of the original 250. Briefly, I need to see at least 80-90mbit to feel morally satisfied (ideally 100mbit). The second issue arises when more than four or five devices (mainly iOS gadgets) are linked to the in-built access point. To sum up, I feel dishonest recommending this purchase. Score 3+/5.

Pros
  • 1 Preinstalled Wi-Fi There are two RJ-45 jacks 3) diminutive size
Cons
  • First, the theoretical maximum of 500Mbps on the electrical grid is very far from the actual speed. 2. Uncertain employment prospects due to a low volume of clients
