I had a rusty Moen faucet repaired and under the sink under the faucet everything was leaking from the bottom. And all the clamps and screws were very badly rusted and corroded. My main gripe with them is stainless steel. The screws are regular steel and the clips are the same. So how long before they rot. When two different types of metal touch, one becomes an anode and the other becomes a diode. This causes the anode to sink and rot. So I replaced the screws with stainless ones so let's see how long they last before the parts start rusting. PS: There is another mounting system for bottom mount sinks for around $30. I will use it next time if it doesn't work.
