We had a non-original DVD player in our SUV. It had USB input and we just played movies from an SD card plugged into the adapter instead of burning DVDs and carrying them around. Then we bought a Buick Enclave with a built in entertainment system. It only had a USB input for music and photos, no movies. So I bought this player to use the AUX input setup and rear composite inputs. I plugged it into a 120v outlet in the center console. The 128GB SD card was only able to play 1 out of 10 movies, although they were all within spec. Removed the SD card from the SD input and plugged it into the USB adapter instead, then everything started playing. Works perfectly. The best thing the other player didn't have is that it remembers where you left off in each movie. The buttons mean that the player is not useless if we lose the remote control or the batteries run out.
