I DO NOT have a Roku TV, I have the one you plug into your TV. This remote (unlike the other) worked after putting the batteries in, you didn't even have to go into "Settings" or anything! But only the "typical" Roku buttons worked, the volume did NOT work, but just read the good instructions and they will tell you how to get the volume and mute buttons working and that's it! TO UPDATE! Wahoo! Just in time to see the new Mortal Kombat! UPDATE: I just ordered a second one because I LOVE this remote and the 4 Roku apps on it are exactly the 4 I use!
