I have an entryway rug that was sliding all over the tile floor, never mind what happened to it each time our dogs charged in or out of the house. I was reluctantly going to buy a vinyl based anti-slip pad but have had less than great results with them in the past and then saw on the label that the vinyl based products (most of what's on the market falls into this category) have phthalates in them. Look up phthalates and decide for yourself whether you want such products in your home or workplace.I ordered one of these Nature's Grip natural rubber & jute pads as a test and I'm impressed with how well they grip the rug. Ours dogs (3 medium-large in the house right now) have been unable to move the rug despite their energetic comings and goings.I'll be ordering these pads for each area rug that we have in our home.
