I love a cup. It's fun and sweet and I enjoy looking at it and drinking from it. However, once you receive the product, you will find that there are cleaning instructions on the packaging. It says NOT to use hot water or detergents/other cleaning chemicals. Hand wash with cold water only. I thought, okay, everything is fine. I started using it with soda, then washed it out and drank a blended cappuccino out of it. Everything was fine until I washed it and tried drinking water from it. Unbeknownst to me, the glass retained an odd aroma that had seeped into my water. I didn't notice this before when I switched from a soft drink to a stronger coffee drink. I don't know how to get rid of the taste let alone how to disinfect/clean it properly as you can't use hot water or soap. It also says not to use in the microwave or dishwasher. I agree with the fragility of the glass as I have another mug much more fragile and with the same care but I can properly clean the other and not this one. I think the price is too high for the fragility and the oddity of the cleaning instructions. I would not recommend it for a child or someone who is clumsy or accident prone as I can 100% see it breaking.
