EDIT: I originally said this pointer is acceptable but unfortunately it is NOT. I thought it turned off early in the morning due to a bad sensor. However, I have found that it dims and turns off at around 1-2am in the morning due to the low battery level. And it's only been 2 weeks since I started using it. I live in Florida so that's not the amount of sunlight it gets. I have ordered a replacement in case I receive a defective item. Clear, glowing sign, but a couple of things - the light isn't diffused, so it's clear there are LEDs at the top. This is not diffuse uniform lighting. The light goes out too quickly in the morning and too late in the evening - the light sensor is not very sensitive.
