All of these suited me except for one. Etching/burning out the pattern - all different shades. One was engraved almost black, the other was almost the same color as the outside of the ware. What I didn't really like was the one with the Deathly Hallows symbol on the handle. The top of the design on this spoon is not immediately recognizable as being related to Harry Potter. I bought these to give to friends as souvenirs along with a small box of Bertie Bots jelly beans. What a sweet present, all but one. Still! It was a great purchase and much nicer and cheaper than buying stuff at the theme parks! LOL They were packaged well and even tied with ribbon so would make a REALLY cute gift for the HP fan in your life.
