I got this because I'm tired of cleaning Windex windshields with paper towels or rags every time, thinking they're clean and then one Bunch of streaks seen in the sun in driving time. On this unit, I remove the microfiber pad and dampen it with warm water and Dawn dish soap. then I wash the window. I rinse off the mat and repeat, then wipe the windshield with a towel. Works perfectly! The only thing I have is that I wish the telescoping handle was stronger. Sometimes when I use the device, the handle retracts. Also, the device is mostly plastic - if it were all metal, it would be stronger.
