The W719/45M China filter and the W719/45 Germany filter are two different products that are not equivalent to each other (the Chinese W719/45M does not replace the German one). Due to the difference in technical characteristics, I EXTREMELY advise against installing the Chinese W719 / 45M on VAG TSI engines, Differences - The anti-drainage valve on the Chinese is made of black rubber, and not silicone - it will harden and the oil will leave the filter, The difference in the opening pressure of the bypass valve is Chinese 1.2 bar versus 2.5 bar for the German - This indicates that the paper in the filter is also Chinese and its quality is worse than in German filters. With all this, the Chinese product will filter the oil much worse than the German one. All characteristics are in the official specifications for the filter. The W719/45M filter is not intended for our market and our motors and its characteristics are completely different, the only thing these filters are similar to is the thread :-), everything else is different :-) !
