This is a good bed. Some other reviewers say it's not as durable as claimed and becomes unreliable with use. It may not be the best choice for large, heavy dogs. I wouldn't know but we have a small dog and a medium sized dog and they love their beds. We've had a bed for several years and it's just as strong now as it was when we put it together. That's why we bought a second dog for our second dog. Perhaps the reviewers who had issues with Rickedy didn't put it together properly. Some reviewers said it didn't keep because their dogs chewed it to shreds. Spirit. It looks like a dog problem, not a bed problem. Durable does not mean indestructible in the event of violent attack. None of our dogs chewed on their bed. I am completely satisfied with this product.
