Robust - solid construction. I bought it for U-joints so don't need a lot of ball joint adapters, but it's good for keeping high mileage cars on the road. For the record, I hate injection molded nylon U-joint ferrules, but this press, clamp, and propane lamp nailed it. This made it easy to put the new cups in place. I wish I had one like this a few crosses back on another truck. For the record, this job involved a '99 Yukon front driveshaft. The tool is sturdy, even if its material isn't of the highest quality - I recommend lubricating the threads a bit (and protecting them from rust - but I live in a very humid environment). The storage case is good - all parts are stored together in the tool shed. Bigger than I expected from the photos so pleasantly surprised that it's the right size for the job, it can also handle ankles slightly larger than mine. A really good tool for those of us who want/need to maintain our own vehicles. Note: There is a warning not to use an impact wrench (you can probably break it or rather bend the fork with it) but use a regular ratchet. with the 7/8 jack was all I needed.
