Gasoline mileage is back!: Sensors
I noticed my gas mileage dropped by approx. Bought, 5 minutes with old, with new, bingo. The mileage is back to normal. The problem with O2 sensors is that they start to degrade long before the OBD2 system complains about a bad sensor. As they wear out, the output voltage drops, the computer thinks it's running on a lean mixture, so the mixture gets richer and burns more gas. Comes with a small amount of EP additive.
