Direct replacement for 2006 Toyota Matrix

Direct mount is easy to install. Be sure to purchase a dedicated ratchet O2 sensor adapter. You make the difference. Installed on my 2006 Toyota Matrix.

Pros
  • Hands-Free Operation

High Quality Oxygen Sensor (Air/Fuel)

Denso manufactures many original parts for Toyota. I have ordered this and subsequent (these are ascending) oxygen sensors. What most people don't realize is that they need to be changed (at 100,000 miles or more) to control emissions. If they are not changed, fuel economy will deteriorate.

Pros
  • Comfortable to Use
Cons
  • Repair

Solved my P0171 code on my Lexus LS460

This is the correct part for the front/upper sensor on the driver's side of a 2007 Lexus LS460. This eventually resolved the P0171 code I had. Replacing the bottom sensor (different part number) also resolved my P0138 code. Just in case someone experiences both codes like me. My car is now without a code!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Blank

OEM SPARE PARTS for TOYOTA works like original.

Genuine DENSO part for my 2006 Toyota Corolla. It was easy to remove the old one and install this OEM sensor. My old one worked fine, but after 150,000 miles it was time to replace the top and bottom sensors. DENSO is a TOYOTA OEM and works great with any TOYOTA vehicle.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Irregular

Gasoline mileage is back!: Sensors

I noticed my gas mileage dropped by approx. Bought, 5 minutes with old, with new, bingo. The mileage is back to normal. The problem with O2 sensors is that they start to degrade long before the OBD2 system complains about a bad sensor. As they wear out, the output voltage drops, the computer thinks it's running on a lean mixture, so the mixture gets richer and burns more gas. Comes with a small amount of EP additive.

Pros
  • High quality assembly
Cons
  • Poor instructions

The best price on the web for me was Revain, a direct OEM replacement.

Seems like the only thing you should buy if you want to troubleshoot problems. The OEM direct replacement this one has FINALLY eliminates my check engine light. They just can't replace them on my Corolla 05 in my experience. I tried another brand (NGK) first but the light went on and off. I ended up replacing both with Denso and fixed my problems. Pay attention to the different front and back that you need once. They are not the same.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Not sure

Ideal for spare parts

This was the perfect replacement and direct replacement. It was a factory part. I replaced it with a 2008 Toyota Corolla S. This particular vehicle is too close to the firewall to use the sensor socket, so save your money. Remove the heat shield, disconnect the sensor and use a 22mm combination wrench (box spanner). Pro tip: I didn't have a 22mm and none of the locals had one. The 7/8 wrench was close enough to get the job done without damage. And the man was an old ignorant that came out.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Good sensor, suitable for Corrola 2008

We bought this O2 sensor for a 2008 Corolla with engine code R as it gave us code P0170 and the LT and FT were both high. It fits perfectly. We tried using the oxygen sensor socket without removing the heat shield. He was stuck there tight enough that he didn't want to move. In fact, we partially rounded the edges of the old sensor and had to remove the heat shield. The shield was on 4 studs and was easy to remove. The sensor still hasn't moved. We decided to heat up the manifold until it…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • The list will be long.
