This is a great size for soap making. Very flexible and easy to clean. I just rinse and then throw it in the dishwasher (top shelf). This size is suitable for a recipe that calls for about 1 pound of butter. Depending on your other ingredients, you'll get a little more. I've bought several of these different shapes at once and they all work great. I use a baking sheet underneath for stability when filling with soap. *update* Since there are no customer photos here, I thought I'd add one. The soap comes out pretty smooth and shiny, depending on your recipe of course.
