poor design of the immersion filter
rating of replacement filters is not relevant. The filter itself is poorly constructed and sucks water through the bottom. The problem is that dirt is also drawn in and clogs the impeller. Thus, the reduced water flow with impurities never reaches the replacement filter. I would not buy this product again.
