I'm a mechanical engineer and I feel best qualified to review this product. I have nothing to say other than lots of reviews praising the quality of the bike suspension. I would make the product out of steel and I would make the frame braces adjustable or spacers for wider frame tubes like carbon. WALL! Seriously, have you read the instructions? There it is clearly stated that dowels should only be used in masonry or concrete walls. Typically, the complainants stuck the dowels into the drywall. So here's my advice: Stop blaming others for your mistakes. If you don't know what you're doing, either learn the basic skills and knowledge or read the instructions. Here is a picture of the correct installation in steel or wood posts. The 3/4" plywood spans (typically) 16" between the posts, allowing for numerous bracket placement options. Note that when the bottom is pressed together, the 4 screws are on the top. Good luck everyone and safe travels!
