Yes, it works! Hooray! My husband and I are very happy to have a replacement remote for our Magnavox converter. It's so great to have a brand new, perfectly working remote control again! I forgot the remotes have a down button! All we had to do was take the batteries out of the old, still new remote and put them in this new remote. And Valla, it works GREAT! It also has a longer range when hovering over the converter. We should have thought of that much sooner!
