Review on MICHELIN Pilot Sport 4 235/45 R17 97Y summer by Micha Gabriel Czajko ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Overall good, but I expected more, there are disadvantages.

Auto Audi A5 2.0tfsi quattro stage 2. I bought a kit new in the winter of 2022-2022. Tires 2022 made in Spain. I really liked the behavior of the rubber - the car steers perfectly, accelerates well and brakes predictably, it is quiet in the cabin, instills a sense of confidence. There were plans to skate on the track, but this season somehow did not grow together. But for all the good you have to pay - very fast wear. During the season I dashed off about 20,000 km in city-highway mode. I noticed that the tread somehow decreases very quickly. In addition, for the season closed up about 7 punctures. I thought there were more nails on the roads)) But the most interesting thing was waiting for me during the seasonal change of footwear. The inner edge of one of the cylinders was eaten to the cord! A little more, and everything could end very sadly. The collapse did at the beginning of the season. Before that, there was a lot of branded rubber, China took it for a test - but any set was enough for at least 3 seasons, i. E. about 50.000 km. Summary: if it’s not a pity to give 40,000 for tires for a season, you can safely take it. But I will not take Michelin again and will not advise others.

Pros
  • Controllability! It goes like it's on rails. No drifting, good hydroplaning resistance. Weight - very light rubber. Silence - almost no noise.
Cons
  • Erased to the cord for the season! Didn't expect this. Very soft, extremely susceptible to damage.
