I bought two of these, one for each Honda I own. I bought them so the service people wouldn't try to sell me an air filter when I really didn't need it. I plan to clean them once a year, in summer, then I always know their true condition. As for horsepower and fuel economy? I don't have much hope. A standard air filter passes air very easily, which does not significantly change the situation. I had a K&N intake "kit" on a Camaro I once owned that included an all new intake manifold and large cone filter, which probably hurt the economy and performance a bit. The more your engine is modified, the bigger the profit - Margin: not that much. (If you put a stock air intake and air filter in a Sprint Cup car, it will fall in your face due to lack of air). ' A noticeable change in strength or economy.
