Review on Champro Dual Action Pump Gauge 10 Inch by Dany Hamilton

I have bought 3 ball pumps over the last few years and none of them have been very good. They all had gauges, which I like, but the pumps quickly fell apart, jammed, or worst of all, the last one I bought was losing air faster than I could fit it in the ball. This one is metal and appears to be much more durable. The work is very smooth and does not leak at all. The bore is smaller than most pumps and I thought it would add air slowly, but it pumps so smoothly (and even adds some air on the return stroke - "double acting") that the ball is easier and quicker to fill is diameter than larger plastic pumps. I've only been using it for a few days so can't comment on durability but so far it's excellent and worth the money. higher cost. Update April 2013: 9 months later it still works like new. It takes more pumps to inflate the ball, but that's not really a problem. Update January 2014: Still works fine. I've never had a plastic pump that lasted so long. Every time I pump the ball I'm reminded to pump more, but the action is still smooth and easy. Update June 2015: Still works, but last year the piece of plastic between the gauge and the pump may have snapped threads. from being put in my duffel bag. I was able to fix this by applying epoxy to the entire assembly. Now it really is better than new.
