The dishwasher safe aspect initially caught my attention (I hate rubbing things with food leftovers on them) and I can attest that it survived the journey in my dishwasher with a warm dry cycle. They are also quite small, making them good for snacking. I recommend checking the measurements if you are unsure of your size. Reading the reviews I saw many comments about the lozenges being difficult to remove. The seller suggests pouring warm water into a colored container and dipping the bottom of a real tray into it to dissolve the fizz. If you only want to do one thing at a time, you only need to load so many. You can place the edge of the trash can between what you want and what's next in line so the rescued ones don't end up in the water. Worked great for me. My other idea was to heat water and soak a towel in it and then wrap the towel around whatever fizz I wanted, but I didn't have to go that far. Haven't had any problems so far, although it's still a fairly new product for me. They don't look noticeably weak, but maybe something else will show with prolonged use. It may help to detach the piece of ice you want before attempting to pull it out. They really hold on if you don't loosen them and I think if you force them out it can do a lot of damage.
