File works fine but 2 of the 4 I received were broken. When I opened the first one, the pieces were flying all over the place, so I was more cautious when checking the others. I opened the blue one first and most of what didn't break got stuck in the case. The black one wasn't that broken and was just ripped to pieces. I think the problem is that they are curved which puts a lot of pressure on the glass files. I used one of the undamaged files last night and everything was fine. I had another glass file that I lost so I ordered these and they are not very good quality. Although I could file my nails, I had to trim them first and then only use them to smooth them. I couldn't use this file to take a length off
