Bought one of these to upgrade to a Mini-ITX lab desktop computer, mainly for web surfing and some multimedia uses. I just completed a Ryzen 7 1700 build that blew me away with its speed and wanted to see what the lower end of the family looks like. I installed it in a Gigabyte GA-AB350N gaming mobile and booted up on Win10 with integrated graphics with no problems. Win10 is the only place to find the latest graphics drivers for the GPU in this chip. Although I ran it briefly on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed and it worked well, it will likely take some time before the Linux community pushes it closer to its potential. On Windows, the device is very fast and responsive and easily handles high-resolution video, even with 10-bit H264 encoding. Performance seems better than my i5-2405S machine, although some of the speed is likely due to the PCIe M.2 drive installed. And the 90W PSU in my Antec Mini Skeleton case easily powered the system even with all 4 Prime95 cores loaded. It's worth noting that you want to make sure you have the correct orientation of the OEM radiator before blocking it. . I had to rotate mine 180 degrees after finding it jamming my DDR slots, pulling the CPU out of its socket and barely coming loose. Some people have literally ripped the cover off their processor to do this. If you need to remove the radiator, first heat it with a hair dryer or something to soften the thermal paste and take your time.
