Ideal solution
My Trek bike has an older rack that is not MIK compatible. All Trek luggage racks now come standard with a MIK mount. According to Trek, I couldn't replace the rack without permanently removing the rear fender, which I didn't want to do. This adapter attaches quickly and easily to the stand and fits the new mount I bought. The MIC system is really a great invention.
