Sorry this will be an average rating. First for the bad: after we mocked the screen and digitizer, it became clear that the home button wasn't working. I was able to get around this by removing the home button and ribbon cable from my old cracked digitizer and installing them on the new one. Luckily it worked, and it was no more difficult than any other operation that a digitizer replacement requires. Another thing I would have liked in this kit was a solvent to remove the old glue - the two cloths that came with it (one wet, one dry) were complete crap. I just used the included microfiber cloth to clean the screen. The rest of the kit was very complete and included more tools than I ever needed for the job. The details turned out pretty good (maybe the ribbon cables were a bit thinner than Apple's). Now everything works and the installation is quite a complicated process, so I'm not going to throw the kit away because of a broken home button. I'm not even sure if it's a physical button or a ribbon cable, which I didn't get into the socket as well as the original. But no damage, no foul.
