I needed a new clapboard hammer/axe to replace with the layered leather handle that magically disappeared a year ago. The one I ordered had five exposure holes while the one that was delivered only had three. Basically it was just what my old hammer had, but I could have used a fiver. I think my old one was an Estwing too, I bought it at a flea market for $1 thirty years ago. They have the same balance and the jackknife holds its edge well. It drives 5" stainless ring legs in two strokes, just like my old one, I have nothing to complain about there.
