I love this product on my desk but due to Covid 19 I'm at home on my kitchen table and the edge is bevelled. This keeps the center of the screw just below the edge of the table, so with the right amount of pressure in the right direction it will loosen it a bit. It's not a huge disadvantage, but my brother's mic boom (a similar product but with a curved metal clip) doesn't have that. it said i would buy another one. Actually I did. He'll keep my cheap studio light behind my computer for video conferencing and podcasts.
