Review on 🔋 AquaTech Hydro-Sponge Filter by Vanessa Johnson

I have a 100 gallon tank that I keep my large African cichlid in. I only use this filter and the results have been excellent. Keeps my aquarium crystal clear and easy to clean. I notice that when I clean the filter it gets a lot of dirt what it is supposed to do. It usually takes me a few flushes to fully clean the filter due to fine particles. The filter is quite large (but I needed that) and more than enough for a 100 gallon aquarium. However, be aware that when placing them in an aquarium, pay attention to the advertised size, as this can pose a problem for some people. The filter is well weighted and does not float (provided the sponge is fully saturated with water). I have a sponge filter connected to a powerful air pump to help with the filtration process. Please note that the performance of the filter depends largely on the quality of your air pump. If you have an excellent air pump, you will find it very useful. However, if your air pump isn't enough, the sponge filter might not work as well (of course, that would be the air pump's problem, not the sponge filter's fault). My air pump is a bit oversized and is rated at 602 GPH, 18W, 38 LPM. and connected to a sponge filter and two air stones.
