I use this scale to keep track of my cat's weight. One is an elderly guy who is having trouble maintaining his weight, another is a walking trash can that would weigh 30 pounds if I wasn't hawking at him, and the third is somewhere in between. I have verified the accuracy of this scale using a 10 pound sack of flour and it is absolutely perfect. It's very easy to use and I love the fact that it's very stable and doesn't tip over so even my older cat doesn't feel unstable when I rock her. The weight is read very quickly, which is good because young cats are not interested in staying in one place for long. It is perfect for a medium-sized cat and also suitable for a small dog. It also has a profile that's low enough that I can tuck it behind my bedside table so it doesn't get in the way. Very happy with this purchase, will definitely buy again.
