Chickens love it! Provides a feeling of natural habitat in the aquarium. First it floats and then sinks to the bottom where fish swim underneath, shrimp and snails also enjoy it. My male rooster made a foam nest underneath and raised a few fry. The leaves are very large, but you can break off smaller pieces if you like.
