Order coats, jackets and vests one size up
I'm 5'9, I ordered 2xl. The jacket is quite tight, it is not very loose and rather short. Not as soft as I expected. He's definitely warm. The inside is on the top of the collar, making it fun to wear in cold weather. I would order a size up if you want a looser fit.
