Review on Arches Water Colour 640GSM Pressed by Jim Jarvis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Yes, it's good for painting, coloring, and art supplies

I print and work with paper all the time. I'm new to painting but I know the quality. That's it. the best paper money you can buy. I've spent a lot of money on other papers (including ARCHES) and nothing compares to this one. it is very dentate, ie slightly structured, but highly absorbent. quick drying, which can be a downside, but it's so easy to activate that it's not a problem. 95% without buckles! It's a dream to have on the block, I'll never stick a piece of paper to a Masonite again if I can. Ink whatever - it wasn't beaten. Watch out for the sale, I bought my first one for about forty bones but to be honest it's good at any price.

Pros
  • Each tube-sized sheet of Arches Watercolor is placed in a tub of pure natural gelatin and then air dried for added strength and durability
Cons
  • Crumpled
