Super! Ideal for portable power, with a dedicated deep cycle battery and a few other items. I have portable power (aside from the fact that the deep cycle battery weighs a ton :) so I guess it's not a portable camping type :) but when I'm away from home and don't have power sources. As we say. Campground where it's not one of those electric campgrounds. Setting up a deep cycle means I can use this :) to power any devices I would have at home. power failure situation. Of course you can't operate anything massive (heating or similar). But 300 watts is enough for almost everything that people need far away from the city, away from home, without a socket. I also noticed the 500w version but 300 was perfect for me and the deep cycle battery lasts for days with it :) awesome!
