Works perfectly to keep my cold feet under the table which is in the far corner of my Northern California home. I hate turning on the heat all over the house early in the morning just to get my feet cold as it rarely reaches the corner where the table is and my feet don't get warm and I start work at 5:30am so it was perfect for my needs. Works perfectly! My only complaint is that I wish the mat was a bit wider as you are forced to sit with your feet very close together to fit in the small square area, you really can't stretch out and still have both feet on the mat stand. at the same time if you are a taller person. If you are a first grader size or a very petite woman I am sure this is perfect for you. It still gets the job done even if I end up spreading my legs and warming them up one leg at a time!
